Chrysler Building is NY's defining skyscraper in my mind. The ESB is second, due to its history. Woolworth Building is also very impressive. I vote these three due to how old they are and still more impressive than the typical glass monstrosities appearing in Asia. The Flatiron building is also very cool and so were the late WTC towers. Future buildings on this list could be Calatrava(if built) tower and the Freedom Tower.

I feared as much. I hate name changing. Sony indeed. How can a company buy the name of a landmark building? Only in New York. It's AT&T. I don't change with the tides.

2. AXA Center
3. 1 Worldwide Plaza

actually, i don't mind sony buying off the at&t building. i mean, there's so many at&t buildings in nyc, it's hard to keep track of them. so, to me, it's good that this building now have a more unique name.

For me:
1. Chrysler building.. because it is imo the most elegant art-deco-ish building in the world
2. Empire State, because I can imagine King Kong on top of it
3. Trump world tower.. because I like minimalist stuffs.
