Again, I do not know exactly the status of those ports but if we base it on CPA's jurisdiction and I quote,

"The territorial jurisdiction of the Authority shall include all ports, seas, lakes, rivers and all other navigable inland waterways within the province of Cebu, the City of Cebu, and all other highly urbanized cities which may be created after the enactment of R.A. 7621."
so therefore, whichever port, wharf, pier, river, etc. in Cebu for that matter is under CPA.

FBMAShipyard in Balamban was bought by Austal. One of the leading shipbuilder for Trimarans, Fastcrafts and also they're the ones that are making the US Naval ships and soon we'll see them being constructed in their new Balamban Shipyard.

BTW, that contract signing was done last November of 2011 yet! Austal didn't bother publicizing the deal.

that small jetty port, white roof warehouse and offices and the vacant lot at the right side is the austal shipyard complex. On the left side that open wide expanse of land with long peir is the AREA ONE COMPLEX owned by metaphil international.




that building with green roof is the metaphil international modular facility at gate 1 of west cebu industrial park arpili balamban, cebu.
