Great job once more! This reallymakes me think of some of the very newest residential buildings in Dubai.
I'm not sure how there would be trees on that thin roof though. Trees need their roots y'know

Thank you, I always appreciate feedback!

Ah yes, the trees. I didn't even notice that, so I'm glad you pointed it out. They are fairly small trees and the floorplate is about 2 feet thick, but yeah, I'll have to add raised planters for them.

Evrasia; as I've told you before, I don't like tacky, over-designed buildings that throw a bunch of conflicting shapes together. I like designs that have some order and sense of geometry, that are honest and truthful in their inspiration, which comes from me, my surroundings, and my experiences.

You never give me feedback on any of my designs most of the time, and occasionally you do, only to say that you don't like boxy buildings. That is your preference. Thus you are giving me a solely subjective critique, and not something that applies to the functionality or quality of the design. It is difficult to take your critiques seriously when that is all you ever say and you only come to my thread to say that.

Also, to say "it's just a box" is a fallacy. I put hours of work and time into making decisions about the geometry of this building. I've designed something that makes sense when viewed UP close, which is how 99% of people will experience it in their day-to-day life.

Let me ask you this: Do your buildings create a good experience for the people who use them each day and walk past them? Or are they only designed to look "impressive" in a skyline? That question will inform you a bit about what my goals are in architectural design vs. what some other designers here aim to achieve.

///GR ECG Tower///
"Sky Wall ECG"
Mall Park | Internet Center & Business Hotel ECG
///The Sea ECG House & Golden Height ECG///
///TRIADA ECG TOWER///

So what do you see?
What can you say?
Do you see similar ideas - ideas is similar to each other?

I see in your projects -
box
two boxes
my project of boxes ("copy")
black box
gray boxes

Ev, not everybody is interested in the show off architecture style you do, we all have our different tastes and personally I don't like yours but I don't complain of it. Really I like his architecture and as said hate the flashy stuff so I say good on you thryve.

I mean I really cannot see AT ALL yours buildings being set in towns, they'll just stick out like a very saw thumb, thryve is a suttle beauty that looks brillient if put in a city with lots of other work.

Without "Boxes" cities would just look stupid, no offence, but it will, he makes believable buildings.

Now modern isn't my fortay, I'm a classical guy, so disregard my opinion if you want but think it only as that, an opinion.

I Think both type of desings should co-exist! Non every design has to be brilliant, and not all of them have to be.

I prefer funcionality over design most of the time. But there are other times, like on calatrava works, that I prefer design over funciotnality. I think that thryve mixes the funcionality with design, and that's great. The cladding are extremely detailed.

I really like boxes as well, they can be discret but very detailed as well.
And i enjoy designing them as thryve does.

just my 2 cents.

@Ev, let Thryve just do where he's the best in it..
I mean.. this is he's style in designing buildings.. I love he's minimalistic designs!
Not every building needs to have some weird shape.. which is not practical.

@thryve keep going like this! You get better and better every time!

Honestly guys. This is a argument that will never end. I mean I love looking at ev's work. but I love looking at Thryve's as well.
Seriously come on.. The designs are so different from each other, and you (EV) Cannot compare these "Boxes" - Master pieces never the less - to your Futuristic and Concept-ish design's.
Neither should you just say "its just boxes" - I mean. give constructive criticism, or don’t comment at all... We all know that we cannot make everyone else happy. And telling people what they could do better really helps so amazingly much!
And if you (any one else actually) cant find anything constructive to say... Well then you might want to rethink the "I don’t like it" attitude.

- The end.

Cmon guys it's like comparing foster, and calatrava! they are both GREAT!
just different styles... We could say one it's repetitive (like calatrava), but we can look forward to the other one that create different and futuristic designs!

We must respect everyone. I remenber when peopple said somewhere before that didn't like some of my buildings.. I think that's allright and honestely don't give a damn.. Or better, i try to surprise them latter :P

The biggest propose of all this, is trying to make things that we like.. that latter one can be useful on our work.

non of us has to be perfect, every one is getting better all the time...

I remenber saw Ev projects 3-4 years ago, when i join this community, and now they are very improved... We are allways getting better! even the Top architects!! :P

Get Peace!

This is the end of my story - I'm going from here, I hope that he will give more beauty than I, but there is one problem - many of my ideas have remained ideas.

Bye guys, bye.

Yeah this will go nowhere, I'm just saying everybody has their own style and such and you need to respect it then just saying "it's all boxes", add some constructive criticism as the others said, I mean I'm branching off into a bit of modern right now and I think to really understand the beauty of all buildings is that we have to experiment styles, but stay true to our personal style.
