Saya tidak mengerti kenapa kok jalan Ir Soekarno (MERR) yang stretch dari jl. Arif Rahman Hakim menuju Semolowaru kok sering macet? Malah semenjak stretch ini dibuka, sekarang stretch Kertajaya Indah-AR Hakim juga jadi daerah macet?

Jalan Nias

Dulu jalan Nias itu adalah tempat favorit saya di masa kecil untuk lihat KA. Apalagi kalau berangkat ke sekolah sewaktu masih SD di tahun 1980an, paling senang kalau dilewatin jalan ini. Tambah girang lagi sewaktu melihat KA Penataran pagi dari Malang masuk stasiun Gubeng, yang waktu itu masih ditarik loko BB301 warna krem hijau.

Sayangnya semenjak tahun 1990an akhir jalan Nias menjadi kumuh karena banyaknya lapak PKL yang menempati bantaran rel, sebelum akhirnya alapak-lapak tersebut dibersihkan, dan jalan Nias dikasih tembok beton.

Sekarang Jalan Nias will never be the same again.

Terlebih, pasca pemberitaan kasus-kasus yang banyak terjadi di Jakarta tersebut menyebabkan berkurangnya jumlah perempuan yang menggunakan jasa angkutan umum seperti bus. "Mulai besok akan ada bus khusus perempuan di tiap trayek," katanya Ahad (29/4).

Risma menambahkan, tiap trayek dari terminal Bungurasih hingga Oso Wilangun, akan ada satu bus khusus perempuan tiap satu jam. Saat ini, pihak Pemerintah Kota telah menyiapkan puluhan unit bus khusus perempuan ini.

Untuk sopir dan kondektur bus khusus perempuan tersebut, rencananya juga akan diisi oleh perempuan. Namun, langkah itu belum sepenuhnya dapat terealisasi sejak awal karena keterbatasan sopir dan kondektur perempuan.
