Well, London in 2012 receives more money from direct foreign investments than any other city in the world! Billions of pounds of it! People around the world simply can't wait to snap up opportunities to buy up ares and improve them, build new structures and generally make their mark on the cities backdrop. So much money in fact, that many regeneration projects and other projects like this and the cable car are not even paid for by Londoners... Our tax money is free to go elsewhere now

Yeah London is really benefiting at the moment especially the East which is ket to future growth with siemens pavillion, london gateway, olympics & cable car, problem is its too overcrowded nowadays.
