Actually, for the women moving into 432 Park, this would be more accurate:

I would design a single dressing room between the master bedroom and the bathroom instead of all these doors and corridors.

What's the actual footprint of the Steinway Tower? The construction lot looks so incredibly narrow.

McSky: Fantastic historical images. Mind to share views of the whole buildings or link to a resource?

Those aren't historical, those are present-day photos. Steinway Hall is a landmark. It's being preserved, and actually refurbished as part of this development, with the lobby level of 111 paying deference to its neighbor as seen here: SHoP

Correction: As per below, the photos themselves are not present-day, but the point remains that the historical details are going to be preserved, with the main change being restoration of the "Steinway" engraving.

The footprint of the tower itself is 58.75' (east to west) by 79.25' (north to south).

Those detailed views of the Steinway building are actually from a 1925 photograph.

Currently, the engraved sign says "ECONOMIST". However, images posted a few months back suggest that "STEINWAY" will be restored to the front of the building.

I wonder how they build this tower, because this plot must be a logistical nightmare.

Hope there are some cool documentaries and articles about it in the future when the tower is under construction.

So beautiful of a design. Definitely a masterpiece. I only hope that the bronze and terracotta detail of the facade does not get value engineered out at some point. That would just break my heart.

Looking carefully at that render you'll notice how they will disassemble One57 after Steinway tower gets completed, which is understandable.
