New renderings of the interior and exterior via YIMBY
http://newyorkyimby.com/2015/04/new-...enderings.html

According to the floorplan, the kitchen should be on the left side, but it is not shown in this rendering.
Could be that it is a multiple-level, upper floor unit, so the kitchen is on the face of the building facing 57th street, with the bedrooms in the upper floor(s)

This Driveway must be on the old Steinway Building, I guess on the 58th street side.

What a beauty. I love that they are giving us so many renderings...they obviously have nothing to hide!

From the JDS website (thought it might be a little clearer than the scan from the NYT Magazine, but the opposite is actually the case):

These don't seem to be too hard to solve.

That's no good, is this tower too good to be true?

Hopefully they resolve everything quickly.

They've done a great job of making the room seem huge when it's such a small floor area.

These are just minor violations. No fines imposed.

It looks at it is, it is pretty big. That living room measures aproximately 15.5 x 6.5 meters (51 x 21 ft.) which is about 100 sq meters or 1100 sq ft. that is almost the size of the entire 3-bed apartment in which I live.

The floor plan may be small when you put in a context of such a tall tower, but it has over 320 sq meters (3500 sq ft) of inhabitable space (not counting elevators, stairs or the outer supporting walls), not gigantic, but pretty big for a single unit.

I'm calling shenanigans on the scale of the furniture in the great room rendering, as well as the Rolls Royce in the porte cochere rendering.

However, putting a porte cochere on the 58th street side where the curb cuts and loading docks are is a stroke of genius. It's nice how they're mirroring the details on the 57th street side in the lobby entrance too.

This will honestly be one of the best buildings ever built when completed.
