From the website...
"111 will feature full-floor and duplex condominium residences with unparalleled 360-degree views of Central Park"

That wouldn't be possible unless the building was IN the park.

Also,Chicago is more airy, the architecture more homogeneous, the city planning more inflexible.
However, don't get me wrong:i trully love New York as and for what it is;a big mess, brilliant and sophisticated but a mess!
There's a difference between being a mess and lacking class.
How arguably the most prominent alpha city in the world lacks class is dumbfounding. Park ave, Madison ave, Soho, TriBeCa...??? Lacking class?

NYC is messy, and chaotic from the lifestyle to the architecture, but that's part of the charm of the city, and that's why people who love the city are as passionate as they are, and those who hate it really do hate it. You rarely get something in between.
And yes, Chicago is a more organized and cleaner city than NYC is, and if you liked Chicago in the winter, try Chicago in the summer, not only is it beautiful but it's pretty fun.
But the same way NYC isn't Chicago, Chicago really ain't the Big Apple.

600m tall mirror walls are planned south of billionaire's row to guarantee 360 degree views of Central Park and the full narcissist experience!

Am I the only one who doesn't like this building? It's disproportional and assymterical, and not in a good way.

Big images from the new website:

Looks like an earlier version of a Steinway-related structure, but it's too nice to leave out:

If you don't have anything interesting or constructive to say please don't say anything. You are entitled to your opinion but justify, dont just throw provocations. Thank you
