TV, Steinway and 2WTC will be instant classics the way the ESB, Chrysler and the Woolworth were in their time.

But of course, the Empire State Building will be the most iconic building not only in the city, but in the whole world. Some people have not heard of the Chrysler Building (even though I think it's prettier than ESB), the Woolworth is dwarfed by towers like 8 Spruce Street and One World Trade Center, and 2 WTC will soon gain popularity, but not as much as ESB. I think it'll be quite a matter of time before TV will gain popularity because it's not a pencil tower, like Steinway and Nordstrom.

I'm pretty sure the ESB as a name is known by more people, but I think more people would recognise Chrysler.

This tower though, a tower that can make 432 Park Ave look fat is nuts!

All these super slim, simple structures will make it look very futuristic.

awesome. I love the spacing between the supertalls. it is one of the things I love about the Chi skyline. The central park skyline will eventually give me that.

Yes indeed

The insanely high property prices and, Strict regulations with older buildings. Is really pushing the New York city Development into a very interesting direction.

And this one will turn out to be Insanely nice and slim i think. And the pencils got Good amount of space inbetween them, also so u can appreciate each one properly.

They aren't there yet, and they don't even look like the proposals. It are just silhouettes.

Probably been asked a million times but long buried in the 50 pages of this thread: What's the width of this tower?

Now that's some good news! Why waste our time with that horror next door when a new classic is about to rise.
