Too bad drones are REALLY frowned upon in NYC.

Yes sir. It would be amazing. I have to say as of now... Seeing this last set of renderings this tower, it has jumped over Tower Verre to be 2nd on my list as far as excitement.

I think that this and Verre are incomparable icons. I can't wait to see what Greg Pasquarelli has planned for 80 South St and 360 10th.

But right now we have four commissions of buildings that are over 1000 feet tall ... 111 57th Street... a 1000+ building on the High Line, another 1000+ building in Lower Manhattan, and another one in Brooklyn, which will be by far the tallest building in Brooklyn...
So we should expect a LOT of projects from SHoP to be unveiled in the coming years!

^ This is just incredible, we are getting spoiled!

Btw, full vid (1h15m): http://sma.sciarc.edu/video/gregg-pa...ver-ever-dont/

For those not familiar with the other three projects: 80 South Street (Lower Manhattan), 360 10th Avenue (High Line) and 340 Flatbush Avenue (Downtown Brooklyn). All buildings have a thread here on SSC.

I'm most excited to hear about the Brooklyn one. Anyone know of a possible site where this could occur?

^ See my last post.

And btw this may be one of those towers where I actually don't want it to be any taller. It's just perfect as it is. What a beauty.

So I guess 340 Flatbush is getting a height increase from its original 775ft.

Yes, that's very likely. CityPoint is another option, but I doubt we'll see a SHoP supertall there.
