They actually need to demolish that ugly old bridge and build a new wide bridge but its not possible.

Thats why they are extending it And it seems that the center (old) bridge will be used by MBS buses and the new bridges for general traffic.

Idiot news reporters are using the term "purana ravi pull" for ravi road bridge and confusing badami bagh bridge with ravi road bridge. Badami bagh bridge has nothing to do with MBS as it is insufficient for heavy vehicles.
