My city has BRTS but it is nearly not as good as this one will look like.

No disrespect. What do you think didn't american, British Japanese and Australian thought about burning bus or emergency you are talking about? Why we Pakistani people always think we are the only smart people on the planet. My brother just search bus way on Google and see how many of them have these funny 2 ft foot paths? I'm also Pakistani but i want my country to be build as per international standards not they way they use to build city like old Lahore where if some one dies their body can't be taken out as streets are too small to put the dead body on a small bed( i mean charpai). If you are spending money , spend it proper way.

Thanks Mr Malik. I think it will be unfair to compare Lahore BRT with my city Jaipur BRTS. Lahore is a metropolitan while Jaipur is a tier two city.

A fair comparison could be delhi BRT with lahore.

Also, yes jaipur brt is wheelchair accessible. I think a law passed few years ago which mandated all public offices and infrastructure to be wheelchair friendly.

PS. While looking up Delhi BRT i realized that it doesnt have a railing separating the BRT lanes with regular ones. Either they just have a separator lines painted on the road or couple of bricks high dividers built.

calm down, they dont extend all the way to shahdara, they are only at the bus stops, which is not a bad idea.

Friends, these are not footpaths. Its called hard landscape on bothsides of the road for just esthetic or beautification purposes.

These beautiful small coloured footpaths/hard landscapes can be used for placing small to large planter or flower pots.
