NOpe just JPEG's. The thing is not to get too close, so that the textures break down. That blank brick facade Earthbuilder has used is a tiled texture, so he can probably get a good deal closer before the texture breaks down.

That looks cool. One suggestion, and particuarly NYC inspired, try adding a cornice/pediment/eaves detail at the top of your buildings. New York's older building often have overhanging eaves cornices at the top. Its something I've actually gone back to and added on my models for detailed city as it makes them more realistic.

Thanks, and I have actually been thinking about doing so for some time, since I noticed that the buildings just look abit more "Completed" when especially Cornice is added! I just thought that with the last one, the Cornice used on all floors would be enough But thanks for the advice, I will use it!

So I finally got around to finish the first block. The last building is a old 19th century building, converted into a modern highrise. standing at 144m it is the tallest building in the block, beating the second tallest, with nearly 50m.

Lovely block you have made there! Maybe you should add columns/a core to the tallest building and make the glass a little bit darker

Wow! That's a beutiful block you've got there. I really like the highrise and how it really integrates perfectly with the other, much older buildings!
