Thank to you all for your very kind appreciations!
Skaccomatto, here you are the post about san luca evangelista! Interesting church, it looks like an open book, an open bible I guess...Gi˛ Ponti was a great architect even in its "weakest" works!

I read a sad but interesting story about this one. During the second world conflict, it was called "Villa triste" (Sad house) because it was a prison and one of the headquarter of a SS. After the conflict the Fossati family (owners of the house), after learning what happened inside the house, decided to give it to a missionary institute.

Yes it has a very sad history, but it is definitely worth mentioning: history must be known in order not to be repeated. Europe, as lovely as it seems to be today, hides in every corner sad histories of violence and intolerance. Thank you for sharing!

Ah ok! it is called San Giuseppe della Pace, near the Sempione monumental alleway.
I'm still looking for the name of the architect!

Here you are San Vittore al Corpo basilica, one of my fave:

I checked, did not find photos of San Giuseppe...

It was built 1965. so it is not that modern
Reminds me on brutalism

San Vittore al Corpo, I like it too, has special something
Would be better without that corinthian columns decoration, generally I like more simple architecture

Well, the lesenae are so decorated because of the fact that the church is very very ancient, but has been rebuilt for the last time in baroque style, back in the XVII century...
if you like simple architecture, or eurithmical and harmonical architecture, your top should be renaissance architecture, a style very present in Milan in both churches and palaces, for the churches you might find it for example in the Santa Maria presso San Satiro, Santa Maria alle Grazie or in the Mausoleo Trivulzio right in front of the San Nazaro in Brolo basilica, by the Bramantino:

bye!
