Reposting the image, because it's not showing up on the page for me:

Super impressive if that's really the design. Looks to be a megatall for sure.

btw it is three towers connected. This can be seen on the little picture as well. So maybe 200m, 300m and 600m connected. that is just crazy, that is such a big foot print for a building complex!

that little picture on the left in the last render. Kingkey is about 82 pixels tall, side tower 70, connected towers 64 and 39 and main tower 130.

If all towers would be exactly the same distance from the angle (which they are not, kingkey is the furthest away). This leads to the sizes:

side Tower: <377m
Main Tower 1: <701m
Main Tower 2: <345m
Main Tower 3: <210m

the fact that my number is so close to 700m makes me believe they took that as a point to make the render though.

btw, i measure for shun hing a roof height of about 301m, which is really close to the reality. so maybe that picture does not take into accound how far the buildings are away from the street and is just a height comparison. enough indications for me to assume this render is designed for 700m

I want a rooftop party on this tower. I truly hope this gets built.

Looking at those renders makes my mouth water. Shun Hing, the father of supertalls in Shenzhen looks so small.

Good freaking gravy, this thing is huge! And I thought Ping An was dominant, look how tiny this makes those other towers (huge themselves). Please make it happen.

Love the design but probably not final as it says concept in the renders.
Also bottom left of first render the name of the building, Jingdu tower, maybe update the thread title.

Thanks for pointing that out, I didn't notice "concept" in the render. It would be my dream to see a megatall box like shown in the picture. No tapering, no spires...just solid, megatall goodness.

They should revive the One Dubai proposal and build it on this plot with a height of 800m+ ... it would fit perfectly into the futuristic skyline of Shenzhen

On the other hand, a megatall box would be just as great. But... not that concept design with the Y footprint, just some regular box tower.

Not a big fan of this design. Are there other proposals? Is this final?

The last concept looks hideous.
