i asked a chinese friend to open the link, he has the same problem, seems to be an uploading site that is password protected.

looks like http://www.abbs.com.cn/bbs/ is a chinese architecture forum that only provides pictures to be seen for registered users.
edit: ok nevermind after registering i still cant get any access, so we just need to wait for that render to be uploaded elsewhere

Thats why I am worried if this is serious. Taking chinese projects and the fact they usually have many preliminary designs before the final one this may be just one of the proposals. I really hope they will carry on with this one though.

i love the first design as much as i like this one, so i could care less about what design they will choose in the end x)

What I meant was that they actually may still came up with 3rd, 4th, or even more new more "realistic" tapering designs

But the fact that this is second boxy one for this tower (I actually didn't bother to check yesterday what was the previous one and forgot it was boxy too

) makes me a bit more positive

looks like vision to me. 1000m may be possible, but not with that proportions, at least not financially possible
