Why are there so many new towers in Kurdistan ? I dont think all of that in needed.. also the nature is being destroyed !
I hope they are not building vertically for the sake of it !
actually by building vertically you reduce the amount of urban sprawl thereby helping to save nature. its also cheaper for utilities, roads and gives the right urban density to make future tram networks economically feasible. imho of course.
problem of course is that iraqis do not accept the concept of taking care of "shared" facilities... which has plagued all previous attempts at vertical housing / commercial developments. nor do tbe accept the concept of paying service charges when they already "own" the property in question.
