The light in yours was exactly the way it was when I was wandering around there on Friday evening. Unfortunately, I hadn't had time to pick up my camera. The light quality and angle just wasn't as good saturday afternoon. The trees are a gorgeous green at the moment.

Here you go Rumors. I don't want to spam alonzo's thread with my own pictures, so I put links to the rest below.

![]() Yesterday was "messing with shutter speed and iso" day. I like the first two personally. The first one looks like I have used that mode where the camera selects a colour and makes everything else monochrome but it wasn't at all. |

I am currently rationalising all my photos on my laptop. I have taken over twice as much photos in data terms in a month with my current camera than I did in 5 years with my old one.

Been naughty today and have been trying to fake HDRs using duplicated layers with different levels and a sneaky bit of colour range selection & deletion on Photoshop. It was so easy to make it look surreal and crap... I tried to find an acceptable middle ground:

Tower Works in Leeds city centre: http://www.tower-works.com/news/hist...ars-completion
The new office building is part of a mixed use masterplan for the area, helping to save the ornate 3 towers that would be pretty fucked if someone hadn't pumped some money into preserving them. The only buildings nearing completion at the moment are offices, with quite a few tenants signed up (who wouldn't?). I expect the resi to start in the next boom. You can see renderings of the final masterplan here: http://www.baumanlyons.co.uk/project...es/tower-works Last edited by Gherkin; May 20th, 2012 at 08:10 PM. |
