this is my first thread... so bare with me guys, if its miss located, or something
anyway, i was checking out some of the most beautifull pictures for several unique cities in Egypt... and i came to realize that Rashid isnt on any of them...
Rashid is the Second largest Medievel City in Egypt (after Cairo that is)...
it was once the main port of Egypt, and from it, came the name of the Rosetta stone, by Champollion.. etc...
i first visited this AMAZING CITY, just 65 km from Alexandria,
The city has the ONLY remaining representation of Ottoman Architecture that was demolished in Alexandria, during the French Expedition, the city stands to show Medieval Alexandria... before being destroyed by Napoleon...
so i thought i should share a few picture i took... i arrived at sunset...so most pictures arnt very clear... will try to find better ones online...
and since im a new member, i cannot post Multiple URL images... :bash:
so this is the link for some of the pictures i took, i would appreciate it if someone linked them to the Forum instead... :/
