Government will be starting BRTS service to GIFT form Ahmedabad before work starts there

I doubt that...BRTS will take more than a year to reach there, while the towers should be ready to move in by early next year...

With out adequate public transportation to Ahmedabad, it would be very difficult for them to sell space in GIFT.

I agree, and the best solution would be to provide a special bus service to GIFT until BRTS and later (much, much later) metro connectivity is provided.

QC2 just got redesigned.

Ram Walase (CEO of IL&FS Township & Urban Assets) recently made a presentation at the World Cities Summit in Singapore - clicky (opens as a PDF). Here's a slide from it:

The logo besides ANC's indicates that Brewer Smith Brewer Gulf architects have designed it. There's nothing on their website worth gleaning.

This new design is better than the previous one. But it doesn't look similar to QC1 from any angle. Than how can it be called as twin towers?

And look at this slide. Tower QC1 have G+ 28 floors. And height of both tower is 122m.

However I dont think QC2 will top out by August end. They still have 15 floors to go!! Maybe they can start interior work beforehand...

At one point, Ahmedabad was known as "Manchester of the East". Weirdly, the new design of QC2 reminds me of Manchesters tallest building, the Beethams Tower/Hilton.
