This is a simplified tower but it looks very nice. Eagerly waiting to see how India's first planned skyscraper city turns out

But I has just one fear what if all those people start making slums in this city as well?

Interesting observation GJ. Where I'm at, the QC2's facade design reminds me of the u/c One57 tower (SSC link) and more locally the u/c Lotus complex (SSC link) in Mumbai who's design just got published on the internet.

btw I've updated the title to 29 fl x 2 as it has been prev reported by CE079 and TOI. QC1's floor info on that slide seems to be a typo.

Are you asking us or telling us or guessing...

You should be right...it should be 26-27 floors by now. The August deadline is just 25 days from now. Which means they can construct 3-4 floors in that time...

I think we cannot trust anything from the previous plans...coz they are making many changes. However I think they wont start anything new until VGGIS 2013.

Now, total 27 Floors Completed, work in progress 28th is on. For Block Q II, its 18th completed, work on 19th started.

It looks like Block Q I will be up by August 15, from outside. Interior may not get completed to my view but no one can tell you truth.

Looking forward for your comments.

Nice updates reshapco. It seems like they will reach the top of Block QC1 by 15th August. But If they try they can also completely install Glass panels on whole tower by 15 August.

Can anyone confirm that Block QC2 also have two cranes. Because in all of the above pictures, I can see only three cranes. But I can imagine that there is fourth crane hidden behind tower QC1.

Def QC1 will top out by the 15th and QC2 probably a month later...

Now only if we knew the speed with which they are doing cladding, we could calculate whether cladding will be finished by 15th or not...

Thanks for sharing those snaps here reshapco. And take a bow NM for envisioning such an amazing project for Gujarat, those are some top notch construction methods being adopted there, way to go L&T ! And I could safely say its just the beginning of a new herald !

Along with CBN of AP, NM is one of those Visionaries in the Country who dare to think big and also deliver at the same time !

Hope to see the Supertalls being built eventually, great work everyone !

In the very first pic, Block Q II is clearly visible. I think the walls on Block Q II would be of concert which is not visible on Block Q I. Probably design difference emerging in both towers.

Especially if you have any pic which shows the glass panels in detail, you could post them...

If you look at the design of the tower:

And compare it with the update:

There are 4 lines going along the left side of the tower right to the top. Between these 4 lines another 3 lines are present. Looking at the cladding I'm confused how will they execute that part...

As to QC2, I'm bemused by those concrete walls...again if you look at the design

and the update:

There are glass panels all over the place, so it is difficult to imagine that glass panels will be put over concrete walls.
