Church of St. Blaise, Dubrovnik Croatia

The Church of St. Blaise (Crkva Sv. Vlaha) is an 18th-century baroque church on Luza Square dedicated to the patron saint and protector of Dubrovnik.

St. Blaise Church was originally 14th-century Romanesque, but this was badly damaged in the 1667 earthquake and finally destroyed by a fire in 1706. The church was rebuilt in its present baroque style between 1706 and 1714.

Gosh ! These are really nostalgic. One must see all these churches, will really get delighted. I just can't figure out which one is the best in terms of architecture. I also saw some rare black and white pics of the churches, the pics of whom have been taken during the past many years ago. Other than that I also liked the art work done of the ceilings of many of the churches. Thanks friends for posting them out here. these are really awesome.
