Church of St. Blaise in Zagreb, Croatia

Construction of the church began in 1912., And was completed in 1915. year.
The church has a floor plan of a Greek cross, and a large vaulted dome of reinforced concrete structures. It is this dome was first built the dome construction methods and in his day he was broad and technical achievement. The marble altar was erected 1932nd year. Above the altar is a canopy rises over the tabernacle, which is mounted on four columns with capitals that are decorated with reliefs and ends superstructure in the form of a pyramid. At the canopy below the cornice with wicker ornaments carved saints mentioned in the Croatian church history. The arches is carved text from the prophet Malachi: "From east to west the sun my name is great among the nations, and in every place incense is a pure and my name" (Malachi 1, 11). Interior canopy fills with golden mosaic dove symbol that represents the Holy Spirit. In addition to the main altar in the church there are two lateral altars dedicated to the Virgin Mary and the Sacred Heart of Jesus. The church is the chapel of St.. St. Therese of the Infant Jesus of 1933. the year in which the altar paintings created by Mirko Racki, and donated her family Dr. Isidore Kršnjavog. In the lobby of the church is a relief of St. Anthony who was in white Carrara marble carved by Ivo Kerdic [1].
