I took all these pictures last year. Hope you like them.
There are many, many and many others churches and cathedrals.
I'm gonna post some more another time.

This is our parish church in my hometown of San Pedro, Laguna, Philippines. It has gone through some face lift/renovation recently. The facade of the church has not changed much since I can remember. But my mom and grandmum said that it used to have a clock which rings every hour. I did a little digging on the internet and this is what it used to look like during the American years in the Philippines. I can't find older pictures than this, so I can't say if it looked the same when the Spanish friars used to run our town as a "hacienda" / ranch.

Although the facade has not changed, I know that it has gone through a lot of paint changes. It used to be all white then beige then now it's yellow. I honestly prefer it in white. There are huge baroque buttresses supporting the walls on the side which is not visible on this shot. But they were pretty much the typical architecture used during the Spanish years in the Philippines.

20 years ago, the parish decided to install a new altar. It certainly deviated from the traditional altars, but I liked it because it looked clean.

Then last year, the new parish priest decided to glamorize it. They added more lights, put in more gold ornaments and changed the floor tiles.

I am not sure if I like this one or not, but most of the parishioners think it looks good.
