I was crossing the bridge yesterday and the tower is already an impressive sight. It really gives a spectacular impression, and Liège deserves it.
I really hope it will be taken care of unlike the average building in Liège which tends to be beautiful the first three months until it's covered in dust and no one bothers to clean it up.

Thanks for your pictures Benciné.

Very nice for Liège indeed.

Btw the dark-greenish building in front of the tower is the former finance "tower", it's gonna be destroyed once the new tower is completed:

Very nice addition to the city. Are there any plans for more towers in Liege?

Not that i know. The next big thing coming is the tram, that will have a stop in front of the station and the finance tower. There are also plan to renovate some older towers like the administrative centre.

Renovate from the inside? It's an extremely ugly tower (the administrative tower that is) that should be rebuilt from scratch imo.

And destroy the main example of Liege's mid-century architectural heritage? I don't think so.

It should be cleaned, and that's it.

Some nice pics of the tower in the city. There has been some rumors about new towers in Liège but nothing confirmed so far.
