Finally after long time the first of the old high-rise plans for Toyosu 6-chome around the Shin-Toyosu Substation finally seem to come alive. The first one that the details were put up on the construction notice boards is this one, a 155m high residential tower. It not only shows that there's still live in this area, but also that developers seem to be confident enough to announce a new project in this land reclamation area.

On the render you see 2 towers, I believe for now it's just the tallest of the 2 that is now U/C.

The site has been busy with work for quite some time, the foundation works seem to have started early. But according to the original schedule the construction work should have started in April, therefor I opened this thread only now.

There was some activity on the location of the 2nd tower in the render, the B2 block that will become 110m tall. You can see a hill of dirt covered with blue plastic. This is to let the ground sink before the construction can start. Since this is a reclamation area the ground will sink over time and that could give problems during the construction or later on when the ground sinks the tower doesn't since it will have a foundation. Something that is very common in my home country Holland.

This hill could be here for many months, it could take some time before the construction starts.

As I expected the name "Tokyo Wonderful Project" is the name for the whole redevelopment of the area. The website now also gives this tower a name:

There's also a render that shows the size of the tower compared to the current buildings and the future buildings around the tower. From this is doesn't look there are going to be more towers with a similar height, but anything is still possible.
