Downtown bp
Didn't find immediately a park west thread.
Just drive by the overpriced bp on 9 and Biscayne and saw it's ripped apart ( well the pumps at least). All pumps are removed and they are digging up large holes on the ground. Anyone know what's going on? |

It looks to me as if it's just going to have a different name. It would be nice if one of our forum members who lives downtown could look into that for us.

I got a short e-mail notice form the managment office at 900 about the gas station. All it stated was that the station would be closed for aprox 4 months for a major remodel. I dont think it is being demolished.

Crap. Thats prob why they have just moves the pumps to the side while they dig. I do remember reading somewhere once that they wanted to have a dinning area etc. With a remodel, this ugly overpriced station isn't going anywhere for a while but hopefully it'll look nicer ?

They weren't kidding when they said Beyond Petroleum. Now they have the finest dining filling stations have to offer as well.

...and 700 other BP's across the country.
But we are talking FINE gas station dining here. "Kobe Beef Filets in an Exxon-inspired Reduction Paired With Chevron Vineyards 2008 Malbec," not a McFlurry.
