Hilo de Fastjet
 Pues como no tenía hilo propio esta aerolínea lo creo ahora. Fastjet es una compañía aérea que está siendo planeada por Stelios Haji-Ioannou, conocido por fundar easyJet. Aunque originalmente se pensó que competiría con easyJet, The Daily Telegraph publicó que Fastjet está planeada para hacer vuelos transatlánticos. Más tarde se reveló que Fastjet es un proyecto de aerolínea de bajo costo de África, y que el acuerdo había sido firmado con Inversiones Rubicon. fastJet que comenzó siendo "roja" ya es naranja al igual que easyjet, y que fly540 (la aerolínea de Kenya que han comprado, y remodelarán a servicio low cost para expandirse como fastjet.

Curiosamente uno de los aviones de 540 estuvo por SVQ hace poco

Pues ya está volando con dos rutas iniciales y con dos vuelos diarios cada una. Dar Es Salaam - Kilimanjaro y Dar Es Salaam - Mwanza. Tienen previsto para muy pronto Zanzíbar (Tanzania), Entebbe (Uganda), Kigali (Ruanda), Juba (Sudán del Sur), Mombasa y Nairobi (Kenya), que será la segunda base a falta de aprobación gubernamental.

El primer avión de Fastjet, el a-319 matriculado 5H FJA, es el antiguo G-EZEF de easyJet basado en Madrid...
