Re: Gonzoles, check out this SLOG story. I almost wish fewer people would vote at all. The vast majority that don't have the slightest clue what they're voting on* generally cancel themselves out, through random chance. Except in cases like this that expose widespread bias.

* I consider myself only slightly outside of this group, for most candidates, most of the time.

McKenna lost me on "JOB KREATORZ JOB KREATORZ JOB KREATORZ!!!"

DelBene's commercials are worse than McKennas's "lame suburban dad bugging his kids" commercial.

Who the heck watches commercials anymore? :P

And I voted for DelBene. I couldn't watch Burner throw away another easy D win.

Lol yeah DelBene's commercials were awful but extremely effective - the way you win a congressional nomination in a field with several relatively unknown democrats is just by getting your name out there, and all those commercials during the Olympics basically just repeated her name so many times that when people go to the ballot and see several democrats are running they'll think "Who should I vote for... Suzan DelBene of course! I think I've heard of her."

So Inslee can spend us into a massive hole so we can't afford parks (like now) and transit too?

Inslee is an empty suit. He'll pander to you pro-transit folks, and then piss away all the money under his incompetent leadership.

If you want to afford your toy trains, you want Washington swimming in revenue and growth.

Or maybe he'll LET THE LOCAL VOTERS DECIDE on transit.

Thanks for playing the right wing monster role. Always good to liven up your opponents.

This was my third night making phone calls to support the Approve 74 campaign at the downtown phone bank. I've never been a part of election related phone calling. It's been interesting. A huge range of reactions that you can pretty much imagine from very positive to very negative. Calls are trying to target undecided voters but that's a very rare thing. Using the automated calling system has been interesting. I hate getting random calls like this myself but this is important enough in my mind to be bothering people with.

If anyone wants to give it a shot there are several places to make calls around the Sound/state. You can go here to register or PM me.

Gay marriage is ahead in the polls, isn't it? I'm crossing my fingers it passes. Legal cannabis too.

It was ahead significantly in California as well, yet still lost.

About the debates. I feel Romney cleary won, however, a few days later, what is everybody talking about? Cutting Big Bird's funding.

They both have pretty big leads. I was expecting I-502's support to fall as the election neared, but it has maintained a huge lead. Even if it's over-polling, it's hard to see it failing at this point.

If this doesn't make me want to vote for Rob I don't what would. Apparently that's his wife on the right. She looks like fun or she's having fun, something.

Hardly. I think they deserve a bit of credit for this. It certainly softens his nerdliness.

McKenna is a good candidate, but I'm going with Inslee for one big reason: Transit.
