I knew Nina would deliver, I love the Doha embassy!
MDWG, Mahadsanid! Xusein, the Germany Embassy and the one in Kenya were reclaimed recently, so I don't see why we can't with regards to the American one, because the US Embassy in Mogadishu will most likely be reclaimed by them, since it was the biggest in Africa at one point in time. |

^ I think a new one will be likely built in Xamar. It's probably in the pipeline but they probably are waiting for the situation to stabilize further.

No bro, the American Embassy in Mogadishu was 80 acres in size, the largest US embassy in the world at the time. This is prime real-estate for them, considering the strategic location of Somalia, and the fact that the compound only needs to be regenerated rather than a complete new project. There is a strong misconception of anti-Americanism having always been the case in Somalia, but before the war there was a strong partnership, with various Operation Bright Stars, and naval exercises between American and Somali soldiers. Somali Airforce pilots were also training to fly F-16s, I think only the Egyptians had access to that technology in Africa in the 80s.
