He tenido la dicha de visitar Río de Janeiro y Lima recientemente... aún tengo la deuda por conocer Montevideo, y eso que una maestra de primaria me hizo amar de por si a su país Uruguay y me hizo ser fanático del Peñarol (jejeje)

De las dos ciudades que conozco, Río y Lima, siento que ambas siendo espectaculares en su entorno, tienen una percepcion del mar bastante diferente... Río vive en la playa y la playa se siente en Río: en Copacabana, Ipanema y hasta en Buzios...inevitablemente el visitante se siente impregnado de mar y olas...

Percibo, por el contrario, que el mar en Lima, es más ajeno, menos vinculado al caracter de los limeños, de hecho mi ida a esa hermosa ciudad no se coronó con una visita a la playa (aunque cené en la Rosa Naútica, como buen turista): Quizás mi percepción se deba a que soy caribeño... y al mar lo veo de otra forma.

Pero ambas ciudades hermosas (de hecho, viviría con gusto en cualquiera de ellas... hasta tanto conozca a Montevideo, claro jejeje)

Lindo el barrio de Jardin Botanico de Rio!

En este thread he conocido varios barrios en los cerros con extra vegetacion de Rio que son hermosos y no son tan conocidos por los turistas.

Envidia de la buena esa cantidad de verde que tienen alla.

A si, el senor de Cusco Universal, jajaja.
Ademas por mas que tuviera la razon, cosa que a mi parecer no la tiene, Lima si mereceria estar en este thread porque habla de las principales ciudades capitales y en el caso de Rio ex capital que estan frente al mar.

Son barrios casi vecinos. Leblon es vecino de Ipanema, Ipanema es vecina de Copacabana y Copacabana es vecina de Urca

Lindas, siempre he tenido la impresión de que Rio es la ciudad de LA con la mejor vida urbana, parece tener una magia especial Sin duda alguna, la mejor ciudad de Brasil y Sudamérica.
