Lublin

Last year I visited Lublin and it is beautiful city. I spent 3 weeks in Husar Hotel from Hotele Wam Group hotelewam.co.uk with great service and
delicious meals. What about the city... well I liked its architecture. The Old Town is uncommon, as well as The Holy Trinity Chapel, but the biggest impression on me made Majdanek State Museum, which was the first type of that kind of places in the world (I mean the museum where victims of the concentration camps were commemorated). This place is amazing, scary and touching at the same time.

Szczerze mówiąc - to była bardzo krótka wizyta evropeymky miasta, a najbardziej pozytywne emocje. Tylko pogoda była straszna

Warsaw and Gdańsk reconstructions are wonderful.
I'm surprised Gdańsk isn't UNESCO listed.

Poland has tried a few times to get it on the list, but since most of the city was rebuilt after the war, it didn't succeed for now. The shipyards could maybe partly be there once, though that would block investment as well on the other hand.

anyone who has seen the reconstruction would concur that listing it on UNESCO is well deserved and would spur the city to rebuild even more historic gems.

Warsaw's Old Town is also a reconstruction and it is UNESCO World Heritage Site since like the 1980s

Gdańsk was a botched reconstruction - they made the tenament houses much shorter, and left the backyards empty (instead of rebuilding what was there). From the street it looks OK, people live there, but it's a little like Hollywod fake wild-west city
