Searching for the Spirit of Dubai

Warning many pictures here of large size might take long to load

Good day i have been a big fan of Dubai for many years and did my second trip half a year ago and then i tried to find the spirit of the city behind the typical Dubai that almost everyone has an idea of what is.

The really interesting thing about this city is that you kinda have very many cities in one that are very different. You have hyper modern Dubai wich is very unique, and old Dubai wich kinda looks like Cairo at times and in between this you also can find a great feel of India

The pictures where taken between the 26th of Decemeber 2011 and 5th of January 2012

there are descriptions on many of the pictures underneath them

Feel free to ask if you want more info

Hope you enjoy

all of the pictures in this thread are taken by me and, can not be used for commercial purposes without my permission.

Il Start out with my favorite pictures taken During that time
