It's so sad to see africans making fun of other africans...
![]() All "wealthy areas" posted so far (except a few from SA and NA) look ugly and shouldn't be considered "Wealthiest neighbourhoods in Africa".

Well they are the wealthiest neighbourhoods in Africa (FACT)
Ikoyi is one of the wealthiest areas in the entire African Continent including North and South Africa Like I said..the richest people in Ikoyi are not poorer than those in Sandton It is a matter of taste...............You cannot compare the wealth of Ikoyi to floating class....flats in North Africa Some of the people that live in Ikoyi could buy those entire North African neighbourhoods. You cannot say an area is not wealthy, because you don't like the taste....personally I think Ikoyi has character and history, Sandton just looks tacky to me....like a European carbon copy....reminiscent of a Vegas strip.

The problem is all of you, its incredibly sad that we can't all appreciate what we have, this quickly turned into a dick measuring contest the moment the first photo's were posted. Whats the criteria for a wealthy neighborhood? is it expensive suburban houses akin to Beverly hills? is it flats akin to Miami? is it the amount of wealthy people living there? is it their combined net worth?. The pictures of Lagos that are posted is akin to some parts of Miami (where i live), while it may not look like it there is a very dense concentration of rich people in those areas (one of the largest concentrations of rich people in Africa). The North Africa pictures are extremely beautiful suburbs, same with the SA pictures. So really it all depends on what your definition of wealthy neighborhoods is, if that then is the case why are you all bickering?

I have posted my pictures
Who are you to be questioning what I post? You cannot question the wealth of Ikoyi and Maitama...in Nigeria we have one of the wealthiest Middle Class in the whole of Africa. Even countries like Morocco, Egypt are mostly floating class which is a fake Middle Class. What I am saying are FACTS not opinions. Ikoyi has always been one of the wealthiest places in Africa and some of the people that live in Ikoyi have enough money to buy entire neighborhoods in other African countries. if you don't like the photos, that is your opinion.....it is not a fact. When I say things...you might not like it...but I only speak FACTS Adenuga could buy this neighbourhood.....easily...if that was his taste ![]() And he will probably have to buy it......since North Africa's Middle Class is mostly floating class....and I don't know if they will be able to have complete occupancy.

I have posted decent pics
Because you have an opinion that it is not a decent pic is your problem not mine I am telling you this now again as a FACT...the people live in Ikoyi, Maitama are as wealthy as those that live anywhere in African including Sandton! It is a question of taste and your own respective opinions! Do you know the valuation of the houses in Ikoyi? BTW I was the one that first posted that Madinatiy project in the Egyptian forum...so Yes I do know of Egyptian, South African developments and real estate. And I also know that the real estate value in Lagos is at that level. It is only opinions that says......"Oh this area is not wealthy" The facts...state that 95% of South Africans could not afford most of those houses in Ikoyi!

No offense but a lot of the houses shown in this thread are gaudy and tasteless. Money can't buy you taste I suppose.

I like the Llandudno area of cape town. The houses are big but dont seem to be over the top in a quiet beachfront area.
