Agreed. Only I'll think a million times . I remember the Curve took more than a year for it to become a hot spot for shopping. SS2 Mall's location and transportation will be the big headache to its management. Having said that I hope SS@ Mall would do well to make the managements of the malls along the LDP to be humble. Along the LDP, there are IOI Mall, Paradigm, SS2, One Utama, Tropicana City, The Curve, IPC and other smaller shopping centers. The competition is keen; at the moment One Utama and the Curve are doing good.

Not a successful mall. Located at SS2, Petaling Jaya. Been around for more than 1.5 years. 700,000 sg ft.

A medium size shopping mall along the LDP without a main road leading to it is unlikely doing well. If this mall is in Penang, Ipoh, or Johor Bahru, it would have rated 4-5 stars.

For all you KL-ites, please note that Chadstone mall in Melbourne might be big and is perhaps the best (?) mall in Australia - yet imo it has nothing on KL malls like Pavilion or Mid-Valley/The Gardens etc.

Also, the f&b offerings at Klang valley malls are so much better than at Australan malls. Not to mention better shopping hours with shops open past 5pm!

Personally in Klang valley I like the Curve mall, followed by Sunway Pyramid and 1 Utama.

I'm not pretty sure whether have Tune Hotel beside it, since I'm not able to see any hotel around the mall. There were so many office buildings and condos in front of it.

True enough when a city like Melbourne has got fully functioning Central Business District! On a beautiful day i rather be spending it in the city than in a mall!

I was in Sydney and Melbourne last February. It was relaxing having coffee at the cafe in both cities. The free tram of Melbourne is superb. I prefer the operating hours in Klang Valley, nevertheless I feel sorry for the store staff as they have to work with shifts.

I think a rating based on toilet pleasantness is an importantly part of shopping experiences especially to the ladies:

1. Starhill
2. Pavilion
3. The Gardens
4. KL Suria
Above are A division

5. Sunway Pyramid
6. Tropicana City
7. The Curve/IPC
8. Midvalley
Above B division

9. One Utama
10. Sungai Wang
Above C division
