ÅF expanderar i ny Green Building i Göteborg
ÅF har tecknat ett 10-årigt hyreskontrakt med Skanska om 7 500 kvadratmeter i ett nytt miljöhus på Grafiska Vägen i Göteborg. ÅF har planer på att fördubbla sin verksamhet i Göteborg fram till 2015, vilket det nya ÅF-huset i Göteborg möjliggör, samtidigt som byggnaden speglar ÅF:s höga miljökrav. ÅF är idag cirka 450 teknikkonsulter i Göteborg.

Byggnaden, som blir på cirka 14 000 kvadratmeter, kommer att utvecklas i samarbete mellan ÅF och Skanska. ÅF:s konsulter kommer att leda projekteringen av de tekniska installationerna inom bland annat energieffektivisering, el, belysning, VVS och akustik.

Fastigheten kommer att få en stark miljöprofil och ska bland annat certifieras enligt den högsta nivån i det internationella miljösystemet LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) samt Green Building.

Inflyttning beräknas ske under januari månad 2014.

ÅF och Skanska samarbetade på ett liknande sätt vid utvecklingen av ÅF:s nya huvudkontor i Stockholm som invigdes 2008. ÅF-huset i Stockholm var Sveriges första Green Building.

I think it looks quite good. I wonder if it's just some protection or if the windows will have that colour.

I like the building, I wonder how far away it will be visible? Will it affect the skyline?

Hmm, I think the renders are nice but it seems to differ big time in terms of windows. Not very appealing with those "fönsterramar" between every window. Shame.

Its possible that they are going to have another layer of glass outside this layer, like skanskaskrapan. That would probably improve the look of it.
