Well not exactly hehe; when they built Republica station for line 3, they anticipated that line 4 would connect line 3 there, so they already built a double station at the time. Too bad line 4 itself took to long to be built, it was supposed to be operational by the early/mid 90s but Brazil's financial meltdown at the time prevented it from being financed. When they finally built line 4, shield machine technology had evolved so instead of two shields, one was used, which demanded the old line 4 Republica platforms to be partly demolished, since they included a central platform, and one shield going through the station meant only side platforms would be possible

not specifically. There is the general Sao Paulo Heavy Rail Expansion website:

Great vid of the new CAF 7000 train serving line 11, certainly one of the most beautiful trains in the world, its modern frontal mask shows modernity while its bare steel sides spells robustness, strength. Plus Dom Bosco station is very beautiful too, show in the last seconds of the footage. Enjoy.
