Still don't understand why the doors are so small on the trains in SP. I have the feeling that it is (or at least will be in the future) a major bottleneck.

First of all, this "new" train is actually made over an old train steel box. These trains have 1,30m wide doors. New ones have 1,60m wide doors.

Also, there are 4 doors per side/car.

New Line 3 train, made by CAF on it's Brazilian plant:

That's what I can a powerful zoom, Tamanduateí Station is about 15km away from the Sé Cathedral or the Italia Building (on the background).
