The brown line in the middle ("18") is just a distant dream
The orange line (6) will start construction by 2012 or 2013. Same for the white line in the east.
The lilac line (5) is being extended from Largo Treze to Chácara Klábin, already under construction
The line 2 monorail in the East is u/c to Oratório, the rest will start shortly
The line 17 monorail will start construction next year.

The eastern extension of line 6 (orange) has been shifted northward and further eastward as well in the new plans.

In the yellow line (4), the two main central stations República and Luz will open next month, completing Phase I of line 4 (Phase II includes intermediate stations and the last two).
