New CAF 8000 series made in Brazil for the CPTM system, delivered. The main difference in relation to the externally identical 7000/7500 series is the open gangway between cars, which can be seen from the connective bellows in the pictures below. As seen on the patch, this is the 22nd new train delivered for CPTM this year. Each trainset contains 8 cars.

This trainset is for Line 8.

Apparently Bombardier did not put much effort into the interior of the mockup.

Looks like they change plans every month... but i'm not complaining

What is the name of the line in the eastern suburbs, that conects (going from north to the south) lines 12-3-2-10? Is it the same with "Guarulho ABC" as ine the legenda?

I guess the plan there is either a Light Rail Tram or a Bus Rapid Transit system, since this trajectory is actually the newly extended Jacu Pêssego Freeway.

A mistake is the airport line, the Airport Express has been merged with line 13.

14 and 13 merged? That looks reasonable.

Yes, originally, CPTM line 13 was planned to be a local normal rail service for the city of Guarulhos, where the airport is, and line 14 was supposed to be a fully segregated express service from downtown Sao Paulo to the International Airport. Two completely different services.

But the Federal Government's proposal of including an airport link in its planned High Speed Rail project from Sao Paulo to Rio created a stalemate, since it would compete with line 14 (the Airport Express).

In the end, the High Speed train delayed several years and Sao Paulo state government decided to provide an normal rail service to the airport as a simple extension of the Guarulhos city line, instead of a luxury express service. I found it the better solution.

Correction: the BRT line is indicated as EMTU Line D, just east of the line you speak of. The João Paulo-Pirelli line is planned to be a light rail line by CPTM. EMTU is the state bus authority.
