amo las bellas iglesias de los pueblos pequeños de Puno, realmente tienen un potencial turístico enorme, es una pena el estado de abandono de muchas de ellas...

Los primeros españoles que llegaron a Juli, me refiero a los que vinieron a establecerse, que fueron los frailes dominicos, allá por los años de 1534, encontraron la población indígena de Juli y también la población indígena de Lundayani, como centros de creciente desarrollo entre los aymaras. Estos que trataban de adoctrinar a todo evento, construyeron en Juli tres templos; Santa Bárbara, San Pedro y San Juan.

San Pedro, segunda iglesia construida por sacerdotes dominicos,
conservada y terminada por los Jesuitas

LA FESTIVIDAD DE TATA PANCHO EN YUNGUYO
fue considerada hace poco como patrimonio cultural peruano

tata pancho junto a la candelaria de puno y el carnaval de juliaca

son consideradas las festividades mas importantes de la region PUNO
