2016-3-20

This is the most recent photo I can find - which looks exactly the same as the one from eight months before it! So I'm not sure if this was put on hold or not

Also, I now hear from a source that the Marriott Hotel will occupy this building, but the name will be "Cixi Xiangge International Plaza". That doesn't make much sense! Add to the fact that this was originally the Crowne Plaza and this entire project makes me very confused!

Wonderful skyscraper and truly unique design which is very hard to accomplish and that it goes all the way to construction is even better. Usually the craziest concepts in China ends up with a non Special box. This Tower got like five portals looks amazing. I also hope that they Stick true to the renders on the cladding. And if it is Copper as someone said it will turn green very quickly.

Apparently construction has recommenced! I am counting new floors and seeing moving cranes. You can even see the difference in color between the year-old concrete and what has just been laid. 加油!
