Such a shame that Chinese are forgetting their equal society and now go the western way of consumption.

But photos are nice and impressing.

Part 3 - People's Square

People's Square, this place is considered to be the heart of Shanghai/ If you type in Shanghai in Google Map, the map will centre at this place if you zoom in. It is called People's Square because it is actually has a park.

What you are seeing is the older generations of Shanghai citizens. They are gathering up to talk about marriage for their sons or daughters. Believe it or not, it is like a huge dating-event…

This is what you will see when you walk out from the park. The traffic is always so bad there. Its amazing, look at the number of taxis on the road in Shanghai.

People's Square area is actually not very modern. This is what you would see when you walk into a smaller road near the place. - the feeling of old Shanghai, art-deco buildings and tiny tiny roads.

Hershey store, you won't believe how popular this store is - why? I dunno.

This is one of my favorite mall in Shanghai called Raffles City. Btw, i took the photo during Christmas last year. I love that year's decoration, the moose are looking awesome and needless to say - sponsored by Heineken.

Walking gradually from ground level up as i took the photos.

Raffles City is always the meeting place for me and my friends in Shanghai. Wherever we go, we would first meet up at Raffles City first. I miss this place a lot!

Stay Real, this brand is established by a Taiwanese pop artist.

Kiehl's - simply love their store decoration, the colors are amazing, and so are their skin products.

Part 4 - Jin'an District

Jin'an district, this is probably the best and the most successful district in Shanghai today. The office rents here are even more expensive than Lujiazui.

In Chinese, this area is actually called Jin'an Temple, named after this temple.

Looking down at Nanjing West Road, many skyscrapers.

The temple roof is actually gold plated, its an amazing structure, very cool to have such a Chinese architecture among seas of modern skyscrapers.

I actually thought they would have a bull there but this one looks more like a rhino to me -___-

Shanghai Metro logo, if you look closely, the circle is a "S" (for Shanghai) and the pulse is a "M" (for metro).

Night falls quickly in winter.

You see a lot of fashionable people in this area at night. Many wealthy young people work here, and are willing to spend money on clothes.

Burger King is definitely expanding in Shanghai. There was only one or two stores last year.

This is a department store called Jiu Guang, literally meaning nine-lights. They specialize in selling Japanese goods, food, clothing, everything.

The place is very vibrant during night as more people finish their work. You can see many people waiting for their friends there.

I agree, but Shanghai has a lot more than more than just a huge business center.

Part 5 - Sinan Mansions

During the recent years, Shanghai has renovated many old art-deco buildings and turns them into some very western orientated high-end luxury commercial hotspots. This one is newly opened, called Si Nan Mansions.
