Geil! Thank you Jan!
I just realized the problem with this portmanteau word: "Dent" also means knob/bump/bruise. So a bump in the sky? Could be quite a confusing word to begin with.

So I've opened a thread at the international skybar, too - to raise some more attention for this topic... http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showth...1#post92054341

High Riser.
Works on two levels: 'Rising' and 'riser' is used when talking about getting up from sleeping. 'Early riser', 'late riser', etc. Doing so in a tall building, such as a highrise, leads to the term High Riser/Highriser.

Englsh language is bad fro this, you can make a hundred words in a latinn language and they sound good but are utterly crap in English
![]() Lets try Latin or Esperanto.

Esperanto would be really interesting as well. Anyone in here familiar with that kind of stuff?
Some words that'd suit this purpose and are understandable for the rest of the world?

More perhaps useful expressions in Esperanto: "Aero" = air "Turo" = tower "Loganto" = resident "Cielo" = sky "Nubo" = cloud "aproba" = appreciating "lunde" = wonderful "malaca" = geil ![]() "Domo" = house "Konstruajo" = building "logejo" = apartment Turon/s could be something that comes closer to a practical expression we're looking for.
