Israeli english blogs
Meeting many english speaking expats living and visiting Israel or living abroad and wanting to catch up on local going-ons
I get asked a lot if I know any good english language local Israeli blogs on restaurants, bars, foods, new books, music, movies, fashion, tech, trends, local politics etc.. and they can be rather hard to come by. So I thought why not make a thread on ssc with blog links in english, where we can reffer them and others who may be interested to get some insight with english Israeli blogs? and this is what this thread is for. If you know any good english language blogs that you follow you're welcome to help me add them. this is the template: blog category: updated: daily / weekly / monthly started: first post date Summary: whats on the blog blog description: Last edited by yerushalmi; May 30th, 2012 at 07:33 AM. |

My first one is: Isreview
category: new food products updated: weekly started: feb 2011 Summary: Isreview is a food blog by Daniela that reviews the latest Israeli food products and commercial supermarket food trends and innovations. The blog has pictures of products, her personal review and also lists what kosher label they have. blog description: I love trying new things. Seeing as most of the reviews I find for products, here in Israel, are written in Hebrew I decided to start a blog reviewing anything & everything new I try. My goal is to have fun trying new stuff at the same time as I help others decide what to try & what to skip Daniela

Israeli Kitchen
category: cooking and food travels updated: weekly started: Aug 2008 summary: blog by Miriam Kresh (mim) that combines local cooking, travels and food photos Blog description: Now good cooks, like good gardeners, love to share. Israeli Kitchen came out of my irresistible urge to communicate about food and as Elizabeth David put it, “the urge to cook.” It’s a creative impulse with a scope as regional or as exotic as you care to make it. My own cuisine has been influenced by the flavors of Latin America, the midwestern US, French and Italian cooking, and the flavors of the Middle East. I hope these thoughts on food and cooking intrigue and inspire you. |
