Yeah, the best part is yet to come.

Right now trying to figure it out how the ribs will get in place since the terrain is sloped by about 1.4°, which means that west entrance is ~1cm (~0.39") lower than the eastern one. Also need to get some 2mm cardboards, the 3mm ones I bought (bit expensive BTW, $7USD each sheet) would make the ribs look fat and innacurate. Meeh... I'll give it a try with the 3mm ones just for testing purposes...

Lol you seem like you're in a pickle right now, I do find it will be hard because you have to cut one side only a small bit less than the other or the thing will look partially slopped to one side, That is very expensive btw. Either way it will look fantastic if it comes out correctly.

Holly sh*t the nightmare has just begun! It wasn't till now I realized the ribs get actually connected to the perimeter columns! Oh and the ceiling is also sloped, great... now two slopings going in different directions...

Lol they are connected to the B2 level columns too, I wish you the best of luck. This part surely will be very confusing.

I'd prefer to use the word.... challenging.

These ribs & rafters are colosal when compared to the hall. Sample wing:

Nice work, Otie! I had no idea that you create physical models. This transportation hub model is already looking big!

Computer is helping alot, once the 3D model is completed, the physical model should be exactly as the one on computer.

Been pretty bussy lately... no major progress since last update.

Here, escalators and stairs that will link B1 & B2. I think I exagerated the width of the handrails, need to decrease them down to 1mm.

This project reminds me the airport/train station which takes place at 4 kms from my house:

Yes, Calatrava has done a few things that are similar in design...I believe this is one of them. Though...I don't know what is 4kms from your house. It certainly looks like Calatrava. (Same architect.)

Yes it's the station at the Saint Exupery Airport in Lyon, France, designed by Calatrava.
