Texturing the sidewalk is well underway.

Security bollards are being made from toothpicks. Each of them are 4mm tall (more or less)

Aghhhh I can't wait to see you installing the ribs! XD And wouldn't everyone like to have a robot to assist with models! XD The bollards may not be perfect but they still compliment the model very nicely

^I'm glad I'm not the only one excited with the ribs. Though there's still much work to do before they come, I need to create the diving boards (the small platforms at both ends that communicate different levels), correct some storefronts and repair the damaged floor areas (lke in the photo below), secure the electrical circuit, paint the unpainted columns at B1 level, start with the streetscape elements like light posts and vegetation, not to mention to produce the other half of escalators that are missing (these are a pain in the ass). In the meantime texturing the streets and sidewalks is well underway.

Here a preview of how the ribs will be connected to the different levels. They are going to be 57 on one side and 57 on the other, making a total of 114

Well each toothpick makes about 12 pieces.

That's still a large amount of toothpicks. Gluing them down must have been tricky XD

^Not really, I glued most of them late night, so I wasn't really careful while placing them.

Public plaza's texturing is complete. The colors and materials may defer from what the real thing will look, but the location and distribution of different pavers is accurate. I drew the stainless steel trenches with a silver marker.

Next step is to create the stepped terraces just north of Tower Three and south of the Oculus. I'm considering the possibility to add street light fixtures, but that would represent to make some tweaks to the electrical circuit.

Granite benches facing the oculus

First street lamp

The real street lamps will be pretty similar to the ones located at the Memorial. I was forced to increase the width of the lamps in order to allow the light from the 5mm LED illuminate it. In real life they'll look much more thiner than depicted.
