I am talking about a STYLE.
It doesn't matter if Brazil OR Spain do it, holding the ball and not moving forward is a boring and ugly game. Period.
Rubbish, you've missed the point.

I normally watch crash, bang, wallop football in the UK, I like it tbh. But I find watching Spain bewitching, it is the most beautiful football that I've ever seen in my life, it is not Spain's fault that other teams are incapable of winning the ball off them and then drop back squashing space, because that is all that they can do. Spain have to play through an entire team behind the ball in the final third of the pitch, ball retention is everything!

They are too good for everybody else and boy is there some bitterness.

At least Spain plays better than at the 2010 WC when they won most games with 1-0 and ugly football. The best game then was with Chile 2-0, not to mention that Portugal where robbed of their quarterfinal place. Even Ghana played better than Spain then. In my opinion spanish football is way behind german football, witch I like, along with english football. I think that at club level Spain and Italy have the most weak championships in Europe top 5 leagues.
Anyway, Brasil will win here and in 2014.

Remind me, who are the reigning European (x2) and World Champions?

Spain are and have been the best team in world for many years, the old guard fans don't like it.

"At least Spain plays better than at the 2010 WC when they won most games with 1-0 and ugly football"

"not to mention that Portugal where robbed of their quarterfinal place"

Of course, Spain won the WC 2010 thanks to Blatter and referees.

"witch I like, along with english football"

Chelsea has reinvented the football... unforgettable the Champions League Final 2012.

"think that at club level Spain and Italy have the most weak championships in Europe top 5 leagues."

Yes, it is strange to see a Spanish team in the quarterfinals of the Cahampiosn and Europa League......FC Barcelona plays in the all-powerful French League.

In my opinion spanish football is way behind german football

Of course: Tomorrow, in the Cathedral football of Maracanã: Germany (Europe 2012 and 2010 World Champion) vs. Tahiti. Sapain play in Qatar the Cup of the turban Vs Corea of North.

"Anyway, Brasil will win here and in 2014"

If that seems... Judging by the first matches of the Confe Cup...Spain, as well as ugly and boring game is finished and the current players have no relief...That melancholy of the past... as they say The Beetles: yesterday...

The French league isn't powerful, yes, but in my opinion a powerful championship is where you have 5-6 teams that have almost the same chances to win the league. In Spain there is always Barca, Real and no one else. There are teams that have potential like Atletico, Valencia and maybe Sevilla FC or Malaga but did manage to do something?

What I meant by Germany over Spain was in terms of managing the game.
There is a huge distance between them. In Germany if a club is broke or in debt (very rare) even their rivals save them (see Bayern-Munchen 1860, Bayern-Dortmund), in Spain Barca and Real have huge debts and they are not sanctioned. I mean wtf, even in Romania you don't get the license for a measly debt of 10000 euros.

No top level powerful championship has 5 or 6 teams challenging, Spain is dominated by 2 until they share TV money properly, Italy by 3 or 4, England by 4 (it would be 2 without mega rich foreign owners) and 1 club, PSG will now dominate France and 1 club, Bayern, will now dominate Germany.

If you want the excitement that a really competitive league can bring, then you will have to look to the level below, the English Championship or the Dutch Eredivisie.

Not the greatest fan of Spain's style either, but my God are they good at it. 92% possession for periods during the match against Uruguay....astonishing. And their U21s are the best in Europe now as well. No sign of it ending any time soon.

Why? They deserve to play because they won the Oceania Championship.
So what if they are amateurs, except Vahirua.

If San Marino would win the Euro wouldn't that mean they deserve it?
Even if they would qualify for an Euro or WC, does that mean they shouldn't play because the tournament would be a joke?

For example take the Jamaican bobsleigh team, did they turn the Olympic games into a joke? No, they followed their dream and participated because they deserved it and everybody congradulated them.

Spain is the most boring team to watch in a very long time, i will just watch their match if they play against Brazil, otherwise i'd rather watch Nigeria vs Tahiti.

Great match is this one today, Japan vs Italy, it was just AWESOME.
