Very informative and insightful posts. Thanks a lot!

Guiyang seems like a rather nice place. Let's hope they will keep the pollution in the area low, combined with all the neat buildings in the city it would make it one of the nicest-looking cities in China.

Speaking of pollution, China is currently home to tens of millions of middle-class people living in huge, dense cities troubled with pollution. Are there any places to go on holiday for all those people? A "getaway" from the smoggy industrial cities? A country with more than a billion people, many of them climbing the social ladder, should have a pretty huge potential for in-country tourism.

Found the architect, but they didn't mention the heights.

Is this an attempt to replicate Twin Centres (old WTC) in Chinese city?

Well, there aren't really any square supertall twin skyscrapers currently existing so they might as well build a pair. But the base tridents are remniscent...

Which towers are we seeing the foundation work being done for: the WTC-esq towers or the 2IFC-esq towers?
