But the spires of these two aren't that important to me.

That's true. Someone in the gaoloumi thread postet that the spires were officially cancelled. But also didn't say the source for that...they changed the hight in their title to 335m.
I agree with ZZ-II it's no loss without the spires. Btw for me Ping An is also better without any spire

I liked Pingan better with a spire- the building finishes more gracefully. Here I don't care that much- the spires are just flat roof add ons.

No heartbreaking for me either, the spires are not integral to the design at all. Would still prefer them over nothing. Kind of makes it different from the other boxy designs we have around China rising.

There is not official source, but according local thread in gaoloumi, the both antennas are cut and final height is 335 m. Just note.

What is the rail line in the photo at the bottom of post 410? Is there a rail station there?

Nice pictures... It´s pity that we have so many pictures like this with unfinished buildings, but so few pictures of finished buildings. This is not true in case of mega projects like Shanghai tower for example, but in case of many 300m+ projects this problem exists. Let´s hope these buildings won´t be this case.

cladding is OK; but I would have preferred facade resemble 200 East Randolph Street.
